Sr. Indirect Procurement Specialist - Capital Project
needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client located in Hershey, PA.

This position is for a major chocolate manufacturer
and is suitable for candidates with CPG and indirect procurement experience.

Shift hours: Hybrid - Monday and Friday remote, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in office.

Key Responsibilities

• 50% Lead cross-functional teams, determine requirements and scope, select appropriate suppliers for consideration, manage competitive bidding process, lead negotiations and execute contracts, manage implementation. Review statements of work. Maximize overall cost savings and value-added services.
• 25% Serve as the sourcing key contact for assigned spend categories. Develop long- and short-range procurement calendars and plans. Provide leadership in managing the supply base to insure maximum values and services from suppliers on a continuing basis. Train non-Sourcing personnel on the essentials of the procurement process and procedures.
• 25% Review quotes, statements of work, contracts, and facilitate the requisition to purchase order process.

Qualifications

• Top Three Technical Skills: RFx Management, Negotiations and Contract Management
• Experience leading and managing RFx events over $250k
• Experience in Capital Procurement
• Experience in MEP proposal reviews
• CPG experience, Indirect Procurement
