Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport the administration of various SAP processes including Master Data, Cash, Intercompany, and Transaction Processing Manage components of the monthly close process to ensure that tasks are completed on-time, issues are identified and communicated, and process improvement opportunities are assessed. Responsible for various daily and monthly accounting tasks, including approval of manual journal entries, recurring journal entries, intercompany forms, and account reconciliations Support the administration of the monthly Account Reconciliation process through the Blackline and Audit Board applications by performing periodic audits of the account reconciliation process, overseeing the timely completion of monthly reconciliations, monitoring status of account reconciliation action items, and assisting with action item resolution. Monitor 3rd party offshore support team activities across the cash and intercompany processes Execute and document monthly controls for compliance with SOX Education and Experience Profile Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required CPA and/or MBA is a plus 6 years' accounting experience, preferably in a large global consumer products organization with complex business processes Management or supervisory experience preferred. Experience with SAP ERP system or other similar applications Experience with implementing or upgrading accounting systems and managing projects and effecting process improvement is preferred Required SkillsSolid working knowledge of US GAAP Strong knowledge of accounting systems technology and how to leverage within the business Experience with SAP, Blackline or Smart Close applications preferred Effective verbal and written communication skills Experience managing multiple projects and routine deliverables timely and accurately Disciplined approach in developing and implementing standardized processes & procedures Passion for results and improving the status quo Strong analytical skills and advanced use of Excel |
