Application Window Open date: May 5, 2025 Next review date: Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Thursday, Nov 5, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Associate Specialist- Yaffee Lab Under the supervision of Dr. Kristine Yaffe at the Center for Population Brain Health (CPBH), the Specialist will contribute to population-based research focused on the epidemiology of cognitive aging and dementia related to two new NIH awards in addition to current awards in the PI's portfolio. Our mission is to improve brain health over the life course to facilitate healthy aging. The Specialist's key responsibilities will be to conduct brain health epidemiological research including data analysis and synthesis; preparation of materials for grant submissions, conference presentations, and academic publications as a co-author; as well as coordination of day-to-day research activities. The candidate will lead their own research project related to the grants, must have strong management skills, and the ability to adapt and address new challenges.
