Security Professional - Aerospace Patrol

As a Security Professional - Aerospace Patrol in Annapolis Junction, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a secure environment for personnel and assets. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.68 / Hour

Job Schedule: Flex - On call

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any security-related incidents.
• Monitor the location for any unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities or site management when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance required.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
