Plans and implements appropriate developmental experiences for the infants and communicate with parents concerning their infant and/or toddler. Supervises staff in the classroom and yard. Job Requirements Education Minimum (Required) *High School diploma *Twenty-four postsecondary semester or equivalent quarter units in of Early Childhood Education or Child Development is required, three of these must be in an infant/toddler course. Preferred (Not required)Associate of Arts or BA degree in Early Childhood or Child Development is preferred. Work ExperienceMinimum (Required) *Two years' work experience in a licensed daycare center as an Infant/Toddler caregiver. *Supervisor training, Health/Safety Communicable diseases class a plus. *Good oral and written communication and interpersonal relations skills. *Exceptional patience and empathy. *Pleasant, gentle, and unhurried demeanor. *Ability to maintain utmost confidentiality. *Above average health, stamina, and the physical ability to move quickly bend and lift lightweight furniture and children. . Licenses and Certifications Minimum (Required) *Current CPR *First Aid certificate. Pay Transparency The hourly rate range for this position is $21.00 - $24.66.
