DataBank (DB) is seeking a Director of Procurement Management to lead and administer our organization's purchasing activities. This role reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and will coordinate with numerous departments across the company. The Director of Procurement Management is a leadership role that requires strategic thinking, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in relevant software. The successful candidate will be an innovative self-starter who enjoys working cross-functionally with prior experience developing and advancing centralized procurement functions to increase efficiency and reduce costs. This role will review, improve, and oversee DB controls and processes around vendor onboarding and performance management, category management, contract management, and sourcing strategies. They will also collaborate with other procurement teams and departments on the process and requirements for contract, bid and purchase requirements. Additionally, the Director of Procurement Management will be responsible for maintaining a vendor performance database and a centralized repository of contracts. Responsibilities: 1. Review, improve, and manage vendor onboarding program. 2. Design sourcing strategies based on procurement categories, market data, company trends, and vendor risk profiles. 3. Continue to identify opportunities across the organization for sourcing consolidation. 4. Evaluate strategies pursued with key vendors. 5. Collaborate with business departments to establish vendor and bid evaluation criteria. 6. Enforce competitive bid requirements and monitor non-competitive contract awards. 7. Develop and maintain vendor performance database and scoring system. 8. Perform or coordinate vendor audits and business reviews. 9. Maintain a centralized repository of contracts and information. 10. Work with legal department to ensure that 1) all vendors have established agreements with the company or that all Purchase Orders are issued with DB standard Terms & Conditions(T&C) and 2) contracts comply with regulations and standards. 11. Work with teams to ensure alternative vendor offerings and assist in negotiating contract terms to meet Databank policies 12. Monitor company spending against contracts estimates. 13. Assist in the standardization of templates for vendor invoice information flow. 14. Liaise with the Finance/Accounting team to help ensure PO are adequately coded. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field. 2. Proven experience in a senior procurement role. 3. Prior experience developing sourcing and procurement programs. 4. Strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skillsets. 5. Knowledge of supplier or third-party management software. 6. Aptitude in collecting and analyzing data for decision-making 7. Advanced organizational and leadership skills. 8. Proficient in using software such as NetSuite, Procore, Tipalti, and contract management software 9. APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional preferred, but not required. Benefits
