Job Description

Analytics and Business Insights is a team of Program managers and Data & Insights professionals focused on managing portfolio of Client services initiatives with strategic, cross-functional and client impact and designing data solutions that evolveClient payment performance optimization value proposition and enhancebusiness performancecapabilities of Client services to drive client success.

As part of the Analytics and Business Insights organization, the Sr. Data & Insights Consultant will create data assets and actionable data insights for CS 2030 strategic and transformation initiatives portfolio within Client Services areas and help to deliver findings from those insights to stakeholders.

Prior to completing an analysis, this role will source and process the necessary data from internal data sets and platforms, rendering insights into compelling data assets, dashboards, presentations and visualizations.

Experience in utilizing big data is critical to the success of the role as is the ability to deliver effective data insights reporting and visualization solutions.

Innovation and a willingness to challenge traditional paradigms are also paramount to the success of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage development, adoption and scaling of data analytics solutions that provide actionable insights and holistic view of business performance, enabling robust and comprehensive dialogues with stakeholders on improvement opportunities and optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with GBO, CSDAI, GTMS, Product, Risk and Disputes teams to drive development, integration, and refinement of highly relevant new data solutions
  • Create and present data analytics deliverables to colleagues in the Client services, other internal stakeholders with varying degrees of analytical and technical expertise
  • Get to an understanding of root problems, define analytical objectives and formalize data requirements for various types of analyses.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Payments industry experience required, i.e. acquiring, issuing, transaction processing, etc.
  • Advanced skills for manipulating data from a variety of source - big data skills (e.g. Hadoop, Hive, Spark), ML/AI models and SQL skills required.
  • Strong program management skills with broad experience in managing large and complex projects.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups.
  • Experience in visualizing data with tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications with advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 117,700 to 180,650 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
