Job Summary: The Videographer-Grant creates compelling video content for various platforms utilizing a strong background in video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production. Performs other duties as needed.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field. Experience in shooting and editing short videos for different platforms (e.g., social media, websites), color grading, audio mixing, and adding visual effects, and collaborating with clients or team members to achieve project goals.
Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in video editing software and post-production techniques. Experience in setting up lighting, audio, and camera equipment. Strong understanding of visual storytelling and composition. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Read, write legibly, and speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)). Operate/troubleshoot basic equipment required for the position. Relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position Licensures and Certifications: Certifications in video production or editing software (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert)
