The Training Manager provides leadership for training content and manages the day-to-day operations of the Service Coordination training program. The position focuses on delivering training content, building a culture of program integrity, and ensuring staff are well-equipped to support families served by PICS. This role is critical in supporting the growth of the Service Coordination team, maintaining updated training resources, and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures. JOB SUMMARY:
- Strategic Training Leadership: Develops and implements comprehensive training programs to ensure staff proficiency and compliance.
- Program Integrity and Compliance Management: Oversees audits and procedures to maintain program integrity and adherence to all regulations and contracts.
- Work Aid and System Expertise: Creates and maintains essential work aids and serves as a super user for PICS systems.
- Collaborative Training and Support: Partners with leadership to identify training needs and provides ongoing support to staff.
- Continuous Improvement and Audit Oversight: Conducts audits, evaluates training effectiveness, and drives process improvements to ensure high-quality service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in human services or equivalent experience supporting HCBS programs.
- 2-5 years of related and progressive experience in providing quality training and/or staff development with demonstrated competence in HCBS programs, planning, service delivery, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in presentation and facilitation skills, and an ability to lead teams and manage projects.
- Experience in waivered service program coordination/management and other programs offered by MN DHS is preferred; background in the area of self-directed services and licensed services a plus.
- Ability to work and communicate directly with various level of staff.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member. - Results-oriented person with experience in non-profit sector with organizations serving people with disabilities and older adult populations which are rapidly growing & transitioning.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Ability to travel statewide and pass a motor vehicle record check.
