- Participate in pre-development and early-phase studies to optimize warehouse processes and layout for efficient space utilization.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop and implement storage and handling solutions, while ordering necessary equipment and tools for process improvements.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and resolve warehouse process-related issues, driving standardization and continuous improvement.
- Create, update, and maintain process-related documentation, including warehouse flow charts, work instructions, and equipment lists, ensuring accuracy and availability for stakeholders.
- Conduct Time and Motion studies to analyze operation times, improve workflow efficiency, and address bottlenecks and capacity constraints.
- Provide training on new processes to warehouse personnel and support various warehouse operations, including inbound, material registration, packing, outbound, and inventory management.
- Contribute to team responsibilities and maintenance activities as outlined in the Warehouse Engineering responsibility matrix, ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, process optimization, or industrial engineering.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in warehouse process optimization, material flow, and workforce efficiency, including Time and Motion Studies, ergonomics, and workflow analysis.
- Experience in storage optimization, capacity planning, and warehouse automation, with an ability to lead process improvement initiatives and drive change.
- Skilled in developing and maintaining process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure streamlined operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset, capable of making informed decisions and working independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability in stakeholder management and leading teams.
