Reporting to the Universal Technical Institute Regional Director FPA Campus Operations, the Sr Financial Analyst provides development of forecast for Division Operations budget, forecast, and explanation of variances each month with comprehensive analysis on outcomes plus providing actionable insights to leadership. In addition, this position prepares and reports KPI and other critical metrics. This position mines and analyzes data, partnering with the business to provide insights and recommendations. Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Strategic Analysis
Analyze financial operations, estimate future revenues, and forecast expenditures
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to interpret trends and support business initiatives Prepare and present financial data and reports with advanced reporting skills Support executive decision-making through scenario modeling and data-driven insights
Performance Monitoring & Business Partnership
Monitor KPIs and track key financial performance metrics Validate and report monthly business results, providing actionable insights to internal partners Provide functional guidance and advice to the FP&A Divisional Operations team Assist in preparing and consolidating annual budgets and forecasts
Process Improvement & Compliance
Drive continuous improvements in processes and reporting to reduce manual work and improve data quality Enhance management reporting capabilities within the finance organization Ensure adherence to compliance standards and uphold the Company's Code of Ethics
Qualifications
Education / Experience
- Bachelors Degree in finance or related field
- 5+ years of finance or accounting experience
- Experience in using PeopleSoft, Hyperion, OneStream and or BI tools (Tableau, QlikSense) preferred.
