Under supervision of the Acquisitions Librarian, manages and supervises the Acquisitions and Licensing Unit of the UC Davis Library, responsible for ordering, receiving and invoice preparation for material in physical and electronic formats, including, but not limited to monographs, serials, media, maps and government information. Activities include workflow oversight and direction of unit staff, managing transactions related to the expenditure of the Library collections budget, complex problem solving and project management, ensuring positive vendor relations, and maintaining the quality and accuracy of subscription, bibliographic and holdings records. Responsible for the acquisition of electronic resources licensed by UC Davis and local management of consortial titles acquired by the California Digital Library. Apply By Date Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position * Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Preferred Qualifications * Demonstrated experience and knowledge of library tools and resources sufficient to do bibliographic searching, verification and problem resolution, including: an integrated library system (such as Ex Libris's Alma), and a major bibliographic utility (such as OCLC).
