Position Details:
- Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift; Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:00pm
- 2nd Shift; Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm -1:00am
- Weekend Shift; Friday - Sunday, 5:00am - 5:00pm
- Pay Range: Up to $38.00/hour (depends upon experience, skill set, and shift schedule)
- Shift Premium:
- 2nd Shift = $2.00/hour
- WeekendShift = 15% of Base Wage + $2.00/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inspection & Testing
- Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured parts and assemblies.
- Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and surface plates to verify part dimensions.
- Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
Documentation & Recordkeeping
- Accurately complete inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and maintain records in accordance with quality procedures.
- Enter inspection data into ERP or quality management systems.
Quality Standards Compliance
- Ensure parts meet print specifications, work instructions, and applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and control plans.
Problem Solving & Support
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for internal and external non-conformances.
- Communicate quality issues to production, engineering, and quality teams to support timely resolution.
- Assist in calibration activities and gage R&R studies.
Collaboration & Training
- Work closely with operators, engineers, and other quality staff to resolve quality issues.
- Provide training or mentoring to Level 1 technicians as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience and/or Training:
- 2+ years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality inspection techniques.
- Experience with ERP systems and quality management software.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing or quality-related field. Experience and/or Training:
- Experience in sheet metal, coatings, or fabricated components manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100 standards.
- Understanding of SPC, control charts, and root cause analysis techniques.
Physical and Mental Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls.

- The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work is performed in a general office environment with limited noise exposure and usually moderate. Noise may be loud when frequenting the production floor.
