Position Summary

The Associate HR Analyst position on the HR Support & User Experience team serves as the first tier in the HR Support service delivery model and is the first point of contact for issues related to time reporting questions. They may also serve as an additional level of support for questions related to training, data and reporting tools, work processes, and Workday.

This role conducts research and analysis around issues, continuously works to improve processes, and assigns and escalates issues to other teams as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to expand their knowledge, solving more complex problems because of their advanced skills, with general supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve issues related to time reporting and the time reporting platform, MyTime
  • Provide expertise, recommendations, and solutions for timekeepers, learning administrators, end users, etc.
  • Utilize the HR case management software system to manage and resolve cases
  • Prioritize cases according to importance and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Utilize the HR case management software system's data to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Handle tier one questions related to training, data and reporting, and Workday
  • Evaluate security requests on a case-by-case basis and determine application access according to customer needs and business policies around appropriate access levels

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • In lieu of degree, high school diploma AND four (4) years minimum of related work experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of HR experience including service delivery using HR case management tools
  • Experience using a multiline phone system
  • Experience with Workforce timekeeping system & Cornerstone learning system
  • Experience with Workday to research and resolve employee questions
  • Experience with Service Hub (HR case management system) to triage, manage and resolve support cases
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Experience managing confidential data
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills required to analyze complex issues, develop logical conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to display effective communications skills when dealing with diverse customer expectations
  • Ability to analyze work and identify opportunities for improvements/efficiencies to support team goals
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management and establish effective working relationships with peers, vendors and subject matter experts
  • Proficient Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Working Conditions

  • Office Environment
  • M - F, 8am - 5pm
  • 3 days per week in-office
  • Hybrid mobility classification - work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to Duke Energy Plaza.
