Job Summary:

Senior professional performs the day to day administrative functions as outlined in the Provider Review procedures. Provides support to Quality Assurance Reviewers (QARs) and other managerial functions in the program.
Acts as a direct liaison to provider personnel, participating in meetings and training sessions, and addressing questions and concerns. Review activities include: interviews, observations, record reviews and comparison to documentation.

Qlarant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team in a full-time, regular capacity. This management-level position is based out of a home office in Delaware, with a requirement to travel up to 75% of the time. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance. Your role will involve developing and overseeing quality assurance, policies and procedures, as well as implementing quality improvement processes. You will lead a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that all contract goals are met. You will also be responsible for the creation and management of test plans, overseeing the execution of testing procedures, and ensuring that all regulatory requirements are adhered to. Collaborating with other departments, you will work to identify any issues or defects and devise solutions to resolve them, thereby enhancing product excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and a proven track record of solid organization skills to help lead the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs all necessary pre on-site activities to prepare for a consult
  • Meets or exceeds required performance reliability standards for the contract assigned
  • Serves as a resource for other review participants
  • Collaborates with the client on review process and procedures
  • Reviews consumer records, including information available electronically and hard copy
  • Performs on-line data entry of findings and completes a professionally written report for submission to the provider in accordance with pre-established time frames
  • Participates in problem identification and resolution as part of quality assurance activities
  • Completes and maintains technical and professional competencies provided through initial, ongoing and periodic training activities
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of the use of a laptop computer for data entry, online systems for research, and email and transmission systems for communication
  • Performs and completes other program-specific tasks or projects which may be assigned
  • Participates in routine management and customer meetings as determined by the contract and management team
  • Completes specific reports in a professional and functional style, inclusive of element determinations, narrative justifications, and narrative summaries
  • Coordinates and monitors the work of 1-6 quality assurance reviewers
  • Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Training employees; planning, assigning, and coordinating work; monitoring contract projections and production; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Protects and maintains the privacy of associate personnel records, including compensation information

Required Experience

Education and/or Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable social service field
  • Meet the qualifications of the Qualified Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Professional (QIDDP) and has at least 7+ years' experience in the field of developmental disabilities
  • Has 10 years' experience in the field if their degree does not meet QIDDP criteria; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Developmental Disabilities and service provision.
  • Prior experience in a management or team lead role strongly preferred

  • History of successful implementation of Quality programs and initiatives preferred


  • Experience with conducting National Core Indicators preferred
