Job Summary
Audit the work of others for accuracy including quality audits, procedural audits, and inventory audits. Primary Duties
- Audit bin locations and work orders for accuracy, reporting and researching discrepancies.
- Running QAD transaction history reports
- Audit inventory transfer locations, reporting, and researching discrepancies
- Data entry of audit results
- Verify inventory quantities and locations
- Consolidate stock from diverse locations
- Conduct procedural audits as necessary
- Shrink wrap skids and weight product
- Communicate errors found to contributor
- Identify parts to verify correct part
- Count parts to verify quantity
- Inform Supervisor of opportunities to improve accuracy
- Order pick, pack, or put away as required by department demand
- Operate motorized industrial equipment, as required
- Operate within standard operating procedures
- Maintain neat, clean and well-organized work area
- Timely and regular attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent math abilities
- Good performance and safety records - no active warnings in file
- Willing to work overtime as require
- Adhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to pass the motorized industrial equipment test and obtain license
- Safety shoes required (Company reimbursement up to $60)
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be well organized and thorough
- Must be analytical, responsible and conscientious
- Must be familiar with QAD system, or willing to learn
- Must have experience with weight count scale operation, or willing to learn
- Musthave an understanding ofFG and Bulk order picking and related system transactions, or willing to learn
- Musthave an understanding ofFG and Bulk inventory transfer process and related system transactions, or willing to learn
- Physical Requirement:Capability to lift 50 pounds.
- Working Conditions:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
