Position Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional to play a key role in supporting our Talent Management and training efforts. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and facilitating a comprehensive new hire orientation program that lays the foundation for employee success and engagement. In addition, the role manages the peer program and its supporting committee to enhance onboarding and connection across teams. A core part of this role involves overseeing logistics and coordination for various training sessions, retreats, and development initiatives, while also serving as the first point of contact for new training and professional development requests. This position also assists in administering our student internship program, including coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and learning opportunities for interns. The ideal candidate has a passion for employee development and thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
The successful candidate must have experience in teaching and facilitation in a higher education setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are required. Knowledge around developing curriculum and presenting a variety of topics both in large and small settings is essential. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and capable of appropriately handling sensitive information while maintaining strict confidentiality.
