About the Role:

The Manager, Project Management Office will oversee the execution of strategic and commercial manufacturing projects across cross-functional teams. This role serves as the operational leader of project governance and delivery, coordinating between internal teams and external stakeholders to drive high-performance outcomes aligned with business goals.

What You'll Do

  • Lad full-cycle project management for large-scale commercial manufacturing projects, from initiation to final delivery.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, engineering, manufacturing, and sales to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Drive governance through clear reporting, documentation, and stakeholder updates.
  • Manage multimillion-dollar project budgets and regularly report to executive leadership.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Agile project management methodologies as appropriate.
  • Mentor and coach junior project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).

PMP certification required; additional certifications such as Six Sigma, Agile, or PRINCE2 are a plus.

8+ years of progressive project management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated success managing complex, large-scale commercial projects.

Strong financial acumen and experience managing large project budgets.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a high-paced environment.

Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or ERP systems.

Work Environment:

This role is primarily based in an office setting with regular visits to the factory floor. The office environment is clean, well-lit, and professional, while the factory may involve moderate noise levels. This position requires occasional travel (up to 25%). Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided when necessary.
