Contingent Upon Contract Award
Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a Material Expeditor for an on-site position to support the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group ONE (EODGRU1) Watercraft Support Services for the US Navy based in San Diego, California.
Job Description:
- Responsible for coordinating the efficient scheduling and allocation of the unit's watercraft and equipment in accordance with U.S. Navy policies, directives, and guidance from the unit Equipment Officer.
- Brief operators on weather, route conditions, and emergency procedures to ensure safe work environments.
- Responsible for maintaining updated equipment status boards and assignment sheets, managing keys and ensuring secure control of all watercraft, and completing and maintaining all required documentation. Such documentation includes unit Sailing Lists, Boat Reports, Operators Inspection Guide and Trouble Report, Accident Identification Card (DD Form 518), and Accident Investigation form (SF91).
- Ensure pre- and post-maintenance checks are completed and documented, rotates watercraft to balance usage, and coordinates with customers for timely return of craft for preventative maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience of related.
- Must have experience in using the DPAS software system to post Unit Issue or Warehouse Transfer actions and utilizing the EODESU ONE online Portal for equipment dispatching and tracking.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling effective coordination with both internal teams and external partners. This includes the skill to navigate and resolve complex issues through clear and concise communication.

- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD "Secret" security clearance.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional Travel-Less than 10% travel
- If a position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
