We are seeking a Field and Marketing Communications Specialist to develop, manage, and grow our customer and employee loyalty. In this role, you will lead tradeshows with outside vendors, implement employee events, create and distribute internal communications, manage projects across the marketing department, and support our sales team in driving sales and performance in the marine engine, power generation, and industrial sectors. This essential role supports critical industries, including marine transportation, industrial power systems, and global supply chains that sustain essential infrastructure and services worldwide.

About the Role

MSHS Pacific Power Group is seeking a creative and results-driven Field and Marketing Communications Specialist to support brand visibility, customer engagement, employee relations, and field-level marketing initiatives across our service and product lines. This role bridges strategic marketing communications with hands-on field support, ensuring that messaging is consistent, campaigns are localized, and sales teams are equipped with the tools they need to succeed.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing, content creation, and project coordination skills, along with the ability to work cross-functionally across marketing, sales, and operations. This is a highly collaborative role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and enjoys both strategic planning and on-the-ground execution.

Key Responsibilities

Field Marketing

  • Develop and execute localized marketing strategies to support field sales and service teams
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns, events, trade shows, and field marketing activities
  • Develop sales enablement materials such as brochures, presentations, and case studies tailored to regional needs
  • Track marketing performance and prepare reports on campaign impact, engagement, and lead generation
  • Collaborate with business development, sales, and product management teams to align marketing with customer needs

Marketing Communications

  • Create, edit, and distribute marketing communications across channels, including email, web, print, and social media
  • Support internal communications to ensure alignment of messaging and brand identity across departments
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints in accordance with corporate guidelines
  • Update building graphics and all documentation incorporating our logo, Mission, Vision, and Values

Project Management

  • Detail, scope, prioritize, manage, and report status on numerous projects for the entire marketing department. Marketing projects can include Products, Pricing, Placement in channels, Promotions, weekend and evening Employee Events, and Customer Excellence.
  • Administer, direct, coordinate, implement, and complete all critical marketing projects, while remaining alignment with strategy, budgetary commitments, and goals of the organization.
  • Maintain content calendars, project timelines, and campaign budgets
  • Coordinate and lead administrative tasks
  • Create best practices for critical projects to ensure future projects are more manageable
  • Be a liaison between brand management, channel management (place), customer excellence, finance, IT, operations, pricing, product engineering, sales, and supply chain
  • Other tasks as assigned by multiple marketing managers, human resources, and the VP of Marketing.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 0-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or field marketing support
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools (e.g., Canva, HubSpot, Mailchimp, CRM systems)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Other Requirements

  • Valid drivers' license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel to customer, employee event, and project sites across the US.
  • Hybrid Remote with 50% minimum in office attendance at Fort Lauderdale, FL offices
  • Up to 50% domestic travel
  • Up to an additional 5% evenings and weekends for employee events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial, marine, or power systems sectors
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing and sales enablement practices
  • Graphic design or basic video editing skills
  • Event planning or trade show coordination experience
