Position Summary:

As our Process Engineer, you will be a liaison between engineering and operations while contributing significantly to enhancing repeatability. You will have the opportunity to showcase a robust analytical skill set to streamline processes through a combination of engineering and operational excellence, ensuring heightened efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • BS in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years experience electro-mechanical assembly
  • Understanding of ERP systems
  • A thorough understanding of the NPI process
  • Working knowledge of cable assembly components including wire, contacts, and connectors
  • Good communication skills with management as well as production personnel
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Must be proficient with SolidWorks

  • Manage projects/processes relating to new and existing products
  • Collaborate with engineering to review drawings and BOM's to determine process requirements
  • Monitor the First Article builds and provide necessary feedback to ensure repeatability on secondary runs
  • Manage projects by coordinating activities to achieve project goals and timelines
  • Define and propose new or improved processes to lower costs and improve productivity
  • Determine contractors and resources for equipment-related issues
  • Design or recommend process-related tooling
  • Document new processes and keep existing documentation up to date
  • Responsible for assembly processes, including measuring quality and throughput
  • Actively improve assembly processes, develop successful workflows, and adapt to changing conditions.
  • You will be a liaison between engineering and operations while contributing significantly to enhancing repeatability in addition to implementing improvements for current and upcoming products
  • Develop implement and monitor best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
  • Maintain existing assembly-related equipment and research and implement new equipment
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an assembly tool/fixture control program
  • Collaborate with the design engineering group to ensure alignment by providing a DFA review
  • Continuous improvement - define and propose new or improved processes to lower cost and improve productivity
