DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will assist with the operation and administration of the Keystone Login (KL) user management system, and the Pennsylvania Police Pursuit Reporting System (PPPRS), as well as operating the PAUCRS/PPPRS Help Desk. Specific duties include answering incoming telephone calls, telephone messages, and emails from UCR Program participants, the general public, state/federal agencies, and PPPRS users concerning the KL, PAUCRS, and the PPPRS. You will also advise other jurisdictions about UCR Program guidelines and PAUCRS and PPPRS submission requirements. You will access the PAUCRS to assist with reviewing UCR submissions for completion and will perform user and agency/jurisdiction updates within KL, PAUCRS, and PPPRS. Working with KL/PAUCRS/PPPRS support and maintenance personnel to identify and resolve problems encountered with these systems. This position will also provide clerical support for the UCR Unit and assists with the UCR Program training as necessary. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Free parking at this facility.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Previous experience working at a Help Desk.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass criminal history and background investigations if you do not have a current Pennsylvania State Police background on file.
