TITLE: Dispensing Operator B

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Under minimal supervision, perform manufacturing tasks as assigned in the Manufacturing Department

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.


  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
  • Proficiency in basic math is required.


  • A minimum of one year of equivalent machine operation experience required.
  • Prior experience in a pharmaceutical/nutraceutical environment, familiar with manufacturing processes and equipment procedures preferred.
  • Experience with tablet presses or encapsulation machines preferred.


  • High School Diploma.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Operate and clean manufacturing equipment.
  • Transport bulk raw material from staging area to compounding weight room.
  • Verify all bulk raw materials for accuracy and quantities received.
  • Weight individual raw materials as per the product formula and follow batching
  • procedures.
  • Perform changeover and set-up of designated manufacturing equipment.
  • Practice Good Manufacturing procedure as trained in cGMP training.
  • Required to wear appropriate safety equipment and adhere to safety procedures and Federal and State regulations.
  • Assist manufacturing supervisor in the collection and summarization of in-line Q.C.data.
  • Follow procedures described in SOP's (Q.C. and MFG.) and report deviations to the


immediate supervisor.



  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's),
  • cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.



TRAINING:



  • Working knowledge of Safety in the Workplace Rules and Regulations, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP's, a plus.



MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES & SOFTWARE:



  • knowledge of Lockout/Tag out and MSDS



PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:



  • Ability to lift up 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand up for 8-10 hours daily.
