TITLE: Scheduling Coordinator A

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To provide production with charting instructions allowing them to meet customer and productivity requirements while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace. The qualified individual will help planner to manage order arrangement on extrusion lines, slitting, charting yield and service performance in order to maximize production productivity and customer satisfaction. To help planner provide a monthly production plan and 3-month production goal with the plant capacity. Train to assist 8M Schedulers and Coordinator with Customer Service Representatives, QC departments, Material Control and Production sections. Customer Service and Management will be critical to meet production schedule ship date and customer demand date. Help planner on entire scheduling team and performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Computing / word processing experience
  • Good oral / written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Previous scheduling experience
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate various job tasks
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • On-time scheduling of orders to ensure ship dates and plant yield goals are met
  • Production scheduling / line loading
  • Jumbo / mini-jumbo roll assignment / inventory control
  • Coordinate with customer service representatives regarding customer order issues, including but not limited to urgent requests, replacement orders, follow-up, and other information pertinent to customer needs
  • Generation of reports necessary to monitor flow of customer orders, such as order delay notifications to ensure timely action to avoid negative impacts to customer relations
  • Adjustment of repack / rework pallets
  • Overtime as necessary
  • Other duties / responsibilities deemed necessary by Plant Office Manager
  • Comply with company recycling policy
  • Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements
  • Determine and execute work schedules
  • Manage customer orders based on production status to meet schedule ship date


  • Develop plans, considering each stage of the production process to increase efficiency and productivity.


TRAINING:



  • All plant training programs (ISO, Operations, Product Safety, Safety, etc.)



AUTHORITY / DECISION MAKING:



  • Decision making regarding daily scheduling and supervise scheduling team function under Plant Office Manager's supervision.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:



  • Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist (example: changing paper in printer, copier machine).
  • Talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; via face-to-face or telephone.
  • Repetitive motions, substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers (example: filing, sorting mail, starting ignition of machinery).



VISUAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:



  • Machine operation, inspection, close assembly, clerical and administrative duties. Example: Preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, data entry, CRT exposure, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, using measurement devices or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
