Central Supply Manager

The Central Supply Manager will plan and lead central supply and processing support functions to ensure efficient operations in processing, sterilization, and equipment.

The Central Supply Manager will:

• Leads the activities of employees engaged in furnishing sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment for processing of human tissue.
• Manages activities of workers engaged in sterilizing, assembling, and packing of processing supplies.
• Provides management oversight for the preparation of solutions, arrangement of stock, requisitioning, issuing, controlling, and charging of supplies and equipment.
• Instructs personnel on the use of cleaning, sterilizing and preparing equipment, setting up standardized processing trays and maintenance of equipment in the central supply area.
• Establishes standards of work performance and methods of operation for department. Monitors work activities to ensure that employees are following standard operating procedures.
• Ensures that aseptic techniques are employed by employees in preparing and handling sterile items.
• Manages productivity with established guidelines.
• Inspects daily inventory, maintains records of supply usage, and complies periodic reports.
• Works hand in hand with manufacturing in a positive and productive manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements :

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5 years of previous supervisory experience in an Operating Room (OR), Central Sterile Supply or Supply Chain preferred.
