Responsibilities

This position is responsible for entering, maintaining, and verifying customer and deposit account information, customer debit cards, and safe deposit boxes, while ensuring that all accounts are established and maintained following bank guidelines.

Enter, maintain and verify customer and deposit account information including, but not limited to:

Certificate of Deposits

Debit Cards, includes opening new cards, maintaining existing, and closing

Demand Deposit (checking, savings and Christmas Clubs)

Customer Information

Safe Deposit

Appropriately process changes to restricted accounts and account level monetary holds

Monetary Processing

Set up sweep services

Enter and balance fee reversals and EFT batches.

Maintain Account Analysis records

Review all maintenance requested and performed for reasonableness of original request and accuracy of changes made

As an integral member of the Deposit Operations Department, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Deposit Operations Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals.

Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures and internal controls, and meet all job-specific requirements in a timely fashion


Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

PC skills

Proficient typing and accuracy

Strong organizational skills

Good time management skills

Good communication skills

Ability to multi-task

Two (2) years of data processing and banking experience preferred.

Hours: 40 hours/week

Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
