Intern - Material Services - 2490

The Material Services Intern performs administrative functions for the Material Services team in a timely and organized manner.

Essential Job Functions

1. With supervision, this position is responsible for:
   
   
   
   • Updating and entering new MSDS in the Content Manager;
   • Updating information to Excel spreadsheet;
   • Updating equipment data base; and
   • Scanning documents to save to Content Manager.
     
     
   
   

1. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
   
   

Job Specific Requirements

• Licenses/Certificates: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required
• Physical: Routinely lifts up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs.; reads small print; hears sounds associated with mechanical deficiencies; repetitive motion; tolerates products, materials, and fumes associated with component maintenance; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
• Environmental: Tolerates working in extreme temperatures and in noisy environments
  
  

Education and Experience

• Currently a full-time student at a four-year college or university in Nebraska as junior or senior status; or
• Currently a full-time student at a two-year college in Nebraska and successfully completed a minimum of one-half of the total credit hours required for an associate degree; or
• A resident of Nebraska, enrolled full-time in a four-year college or university in a state other than Nebraska, and achieved junior or senior status
• Preferred course of study in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Management or related field
