Endoscopy Technician - Endoscopy Silver Spring, MD Pay From: $24 per hour MUST: Experienced Endoscopy Technician - Endoscopy High School diploma or GED Must have BLS Must have 1-3 years of exerience in Endoscopy procedures DUTIES: Assisting with Colonoscopy procedures Esophagastroduodenoscopy (EGD) Laparoscopic: Mediastinoscopy Assist with/use of cautery devices Esophageal balloon Dilations Polypectomy Collection and labeling of Biopsies/Specimen Applying external Abdominal Pressure to assist with scope Movement Endoscopy room set up Set up of scopes and video equipment Endoscopy room turnover/clean up Patient Positioning Stocking Rooms Scope Cleaning Manually cleaning equipment prior to any manual or automated disinfection or sterilization process. Reprocessing Endoscopes (Manual) Reprocessing Endoscopes (Automatic) Maintenance of Endoscopy equipment Restocking of equipment, instruments and supplies Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
