The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:

$126,100.00 - $226,600.00

Purpose Statement: The Director of Logistics Solutions (SRV) is accountable for driving international logistics solutions for Sustaining Services(SRV) globally. Provide Plexus and customers with effective Logistical solutions balancing lowest total landed cost and compliant operations. Support enhancement of logistical solutions at Plexus.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand the voice of the customer, including their requirements, product characteristics (e.g., handling, storage, transportation needs), and the existing logistics

  • network (strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and stakeholder concerns).

  • Develop bespoke logistics and reverse logistics network designs and strategies aimed at achieving operational excellence, considering factors such as cost, inventory, service requirements, capacity, and risk.

  • Demonstrate the value proposition of proposed trade and logistics solutions through clear and concise customer presentations, quantifying benefits such as cost reduction, improved service levels, reduced transit times, reduced inventory, and enhanced efficiency.

  • Accountable for the successful onboarding and ongoing execution of SRV customer programs, including tracking implementation progress, and resolving issues, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate within SRV, Regional / Site Operations and Global Trade & Logistics teams to ensure exceptional implementation and execution to drive high customer satisfaction, program performance, and import/export compliance.

Additional Accountabilities:

  • Assist in creation and delivery of trade and logistical solutions to improve cross-border compliance, supply chain productivity, logistics performance, and logistics transparency and security.

  • Contribute to the development of SRV requirements for technology solutions and identify, evaluate, and implement appropriate logistics tools and technologies (e.g., transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), network modeling software)

  • Gather and analyze relevant data (e.g., transportation costs, lead times, service levels, inventory levels) to support optimization initiatives.

  • Manage SRV trade and logistics KPI's in line with Global KPIs.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Logistics with working knowledge of Trade Compliance, or a Master's degree and 3-5 years of experience in Logistics . Previous experience in a management role is required. Preference at this level is to have a Master's degree or to be in pursuit of one.

  • Advanced Computer Skills.

  • Experience with supply chain network modeling

  • Advanced Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills.

  • Advanced Verbal and Written Communication Skills.

  • Advanced Google Workspace or MS Office Skills Specifically (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Access).

  • General office equipment and materials.
