Job Summary: Under general direction of the Quality Strategy Coordinator, the Quality Assurance Specialist will ensure all providers contracted with the Children, Youth, and Family Services (CYFS) meet client needs and demonstrate through policies, procedures, and practices the intent to provide best evidence-based practices. This position also provides assurance contractors and internal CYFS staff are complying with those policies and procedures. The Quality Assurance Specialists will ensure clients' needs are effectively being met by continuously monitoring via collecting data, conducting internal audits, and aiding as needed. Job Duties:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Highly motivated team player with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Needs to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage time and work independently; ability to prioritize and multitask; ability to analyze, evaluate and solve problems; ability to verify, document and communicate audit/review results. Knowledge of quality assurance/quality improvement procedures, best practices, research skills, public policy, public administration, or business administration is preferred.
