DESCRIPTION OF WORK
-
The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will perform a variety of clerical support functions for the Chester County Maintenance fleet equipment operations under the direction of the Highway Equipment Manager and Mechanic Supervisor. These duties include entering personnel time and attendance, processing work orders, and maintaining records for automated fuel system. The Clerical Assistant 2 will assist in providing increased communication, promoting a safer working environment, and providing courteous customer service to all. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. (Summer hours 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred (not required) Qualifications:
- Previous experience with payroll processing and timekeeping responsibilities.
