We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S.

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Welder to support operations at the Acoustic Research Detachment at Lake Pend Oreille in Bayview Idaho. ARD Bayview is a Navy Test Range that supports the signature advantage of Navy submarines, surface ships and underwater vehicles through the use of unique, cost-effective test facilities.
At ARD, successful candidates will be part of a multi-disciplinary team planning and executing complex testing of surface and underwater systems using static test facilities, towed platforms, and remotely controlled large scale models of current and future Naval platforms.

These tests further our understanding of hydroacoustics, structural acoustics, radiated and reflected noise, and advanced propulsion systems and support development of the Navy's most complex systems.
