Description This is a per diem/casual position working 10-hr shifts. Business hours are Monday-Friday from 7am-5:30pm. Shift availability is based on need. The minimum availability is 1-2 shifts per week. Training will ideally be part time hours for two weeks. Located in La Jolla at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in the GI Lab. Why join Scripps Health? Collaborative work environment Incredible work/life balance Hands on patient care in a fast paced environment What you'll do: Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice. Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
