ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with existing and prospective new customers.

* Works with Sales Director to identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to gain and sustain short and long-term sales in North America.

* Analyzing all customer requirements and translating them into the product characteristics for business development.

* Develops together with CPVC R&D team the USP (Unique Selling Proposition) of CPVC technologies and successfully introduces it to the customers.

* Understanding the value selling process and knows how to create value based on the knowledge of customer processes and requirements.

* Travel will be required to fulfill job function up to 50% per month. Maintains routine calls and monthly sales reports will be required.

* Provides management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interest, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services as appropriate.

* Recommends changes that would best serve the customers and the company.

* Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, or making recommendations to management.

* Works effectively with CPVC colleagues to the benefit of the customers.

* Seeks opportunities to build strong personal relationships with key players at different customer functions.

* Must use customer relationship management software and update on a daily basis.

* Other duties as assigned.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain complete and open lines of communication with other personnel, functions, or departments to facilitate operations and interaction in the organization.

* Keep the supervisor informed of status and progress, ensuring that regular and periodic communication takes place.

* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and keeping abreast of industry trends and related compliance issues within the area of responsibilities.

* Maintain professional conduct, attendance, and high ethical standards in the workplace, complying with the company's policies and procedures.

* Fulfill mandatory training requirements applicable to the department and job duties as appropriate.

Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering (required)

Experience
5 years: Experience with PVC/CPVC processing technologies (required)
5 years: Experience with PVC/CPVC formulation technologies (required)
5 years: Experience with PVC/CPVC technologies and applications (required)
10 years: PVC/CPVC technical sales/business development experience strong interpersonal skills (required)
