Senior Python Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level applications and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, AWS Cloud, microservices architecture, and API development, ensuring scalable and secure implementations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud integrations while maintaining best practices in database management (SQL & NoSQL) and security protocols such as OAuth. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

Location: Richmond, VA.

Onsite position, 5 days a week at the office.

Responsibilities

* Experience in developing highly scalable enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using Microservices.

* Good work experience in Design Patterns

* Work on implementation of Industry Standard protocols related to API Security including OAuth

* Good exposure and progressive experience working on AWS Cloud and integrations

* Good with Devops, CI/CD - Jenkins

* Extensive experience with database design and management, including relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and snowflake

* Good exposure and progressive experience working on AWS Cloud and integrations

* Good with Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

* Familiar with Agile delivery process

Qualifications

* 6+ years of IT experience in implementing Python, Spark, Pandas and related python technologies

* Must be analytical and self-motivated

* Effective Client communication

* Good written, verbal communication and documentation skills.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Strong hand on experience with Python, Rest API, Microservices and AWS

* Work Effectively within a global team environment
