Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP MM Functional Architect who will be catering to North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Job Summary:

The Senior SAP MM Functional Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP solutions with a focus on procurement and inventory management. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other modules and business processes. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in SAP MM, capable of translating complex business requirements into scalable and efficient SAP solutions that support operational excellence and business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP MM solutions for procurement and inventory management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, WM, FI/CO) and third-party systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation including functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.
• Provide expert-level support during SAP implementations, upgrades, and ongoing operations.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
• Support data migration, testing, and cutover activities.
• Stay current with SAP innovations and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in SAP MM implementation and support, including at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes (P2P), inventory management, and materials planning.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with integration points between MM and other SAP modules.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
• SAP Certified Application Associate - Procurement with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000 - $162,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
