Function:

Administrative Job Summary:CF Industries is the world's largest producer of ammonia and a leading global manufacturer of hydrogen and nitrogen products. Our manufacturing complexes in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom are among the most cost-advantaged, efficient, and flexible globally. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the construction of a state-of-the-art, large-scale facility dedicated to producing low-carbon ammonia. This industry-transforming plant is being built from the ground up, utilizing the latest ATR technology combined with carbon capture and sequestration (CCS). This advanced technology is expected to reduce emissions from the ammonia production process by more than 90% compared to conventional plants without CCS. While we are not the first company to build a plant with ATR technology, this will be the largest of its kind.

Position Overview:

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a wide range of duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature. This position is responsible for varied assignments carried out with considerable independence. The incumbent is required to exercise strong decision-making skills and sound judgement. Accountable for providing administrative support to the Blue Ammonia project which will include receiving, logging, documenting, and distributing transmittals for all correspondence requests in a timely manner ensuring correspondence deadlines are met. Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports the Project Director and General Manager (when necessary)

    • Schedule and be of service for meetings/appointments.

    • Communicate and interface with Corporate and Joint Venture partner staff

    • Provide logistical assistance

    • Reports

    • Itineraries

    • Handle telephone, messages, and emails

  • Organize travel for Blue Point project team personnel

    • Arrange/modify air, hotel, and car rental for employees as needed independently through Direct Travel.

    • Manage Travel Profiles for employees who travel for CF Industries.

    • Ensure Travel Authorizations are followed and organized

  • Prepare and distribute routine reports in a timely manner.

  • Assist in developing, reporting, and monitoring the Director's budgets for project support expenses.

  • Provides administrative assistance to the Project Director and his direct reports, coordinating events, and managing documentation

  • Manage purchases on P-card for event coordination and office supplies

  • Monitor purchases and expenses for adherence to project budget

  • Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments.

Internal Controls

Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies.

Position Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Solid communication skills including the ability to effectively converse, compose written documents and interact effectively with peers and supervisors.

  • Capable of handling several projects and support activities simultaneously and with considerable independence.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a wide range of duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature

  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities with little supervision.

  • Strong decision-making skills and sound judgement.

  • Excellent organization, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office software.

  • Excellent writing and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and a high focus on accuracy.

  • Must be able to acquire Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC).

  • The ability to prove drug and alcohol free at random or for cause.
