Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salesforce Slack Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the integration, optimization, and strategic use of Slack and Salesforce across our organization. This role will bridge collaboration and CRM, enabling seamless workflows, automation, and communication between teams. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of both platforms and a passion for driving productivity through smart integrations. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the go-to expert for all things related to Slack and Salesforce integration.
- Design, implement, and manage Slack-Salesforce workflows, bots, and automation to streamline sales, service, and support operations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and IT teams to identify use cases and deliver scalable solutions.
- Configure and maintain Slack Enterprise Grid and Salesforce environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Develop and enforce governance policies, user training, and best practices for both platforms.
- Monitor usage metrics and user feedback to continuously improve the integrated experience.
- Stay up to date with new features, releases, and best practices from both Slack and Salesforce ecosystems.
- Support change management and user adoption initiatives across departments.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud).
- 2+ years of experience administering or developing in Slack, including Slack Enterprise Grid.
- Strong understanding of Slack-Salesforce integrations, including Slack apps, Flow, and APIs.
- Experience with automation tools such as Salesforce Flow, Slack Workflow Builder, Zapier, or Workato.
- Excellent communication, training, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder Certification.
- Slack Certified Admin or Developer.
- Experience with Apex, SOQL, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 06/15/2025. The annual salary for this position is between $150,000- 170,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
