CNC Machinist

Are you a hands-on professional with machining, welding, and mechanical skills? Staffmark is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their growing team. This role offers a variety of responsibilities including machining, some welding (TIG, Stick, MIG), and general mechanical work, making it ideal for a well-rounded and motivated individual.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, some Saturdays

Pay: $28.00/hr

As a CNC Machinist, you'll be expected to have a basic understanding of operating the following machines: Band Saw, Lathe, Power Press, and Drill Press. On-the-job training will build upon your current skills, with the expectation of growth over time. This role also involves communication with shop and field personnel, delivering products to job sites, and picking up materials as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Manually load/unload materials onto work tables (up to 50 lbs.)
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Use fabrication equipment such as shears, press brakes, drill presses, bench grinders, and band saws
• Utilize hand tools such as power drills, die grinders, and hammers
• Safely rig products for lifting during fabrication or testing
• Operate overhead cranes and company vehicles
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Stock raw materials as needed

Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform basic math and layout functions
• Read a tape measure and basic blueprints
• Operate hand tools and a forklift
• Valid driver's license and current DOT health card
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
