Milton CAT is seeking a motivated individual to support our Richmond, VT operations. This is more than a yard job - it's a launchpad to a career in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

What You'll Do
You'll be at the center of our equipment operations-supporting service readiness, logistics, and light mechanical work, including:

    Loading and unloading heavy equipment and attachments (Backhoes, Dozers, Excavators, Skid Steers, and more)
  • Fueling, jumpstarting, and preparing machines for delivery
  • Performing basic maintenance and final inspections
  • Installing and adjusting attachments in our prep shop
  • Coordinating equipment logistics and inventory
  • Keeping the yard safe, clean, and organized
  • Scanning and processing equipment paperwork

Pay Rate: Starting wage up to $34.64 per hour with equipment experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience with loading/unloading earthmoving machines (e.g., Backhoe, Dozer, Excavator, Skidsteer).
  • Proficient in operating forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
  • Willingness to work overtime and after hours as needed.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
