Overview
POSITION SUMMARY The Safety and Quality Support Specialist's primary objective is to collaborate in the design, development, deployment and continued maintenance and improvement of all areas of the Daifuku Safety and Quality Management Systems. The successful candidate should be proactive, autonomous, able to provide innovative solutions that balance compliance and business concerns, enjoy working hard and being challenged, have strong written and oral communication skills, quick to learn new tools, and demonstrate sound and logical judgment in a variety of situations.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in safety and/or quality program coordination or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Ability to pass all necessary background checks.
- Valid driver's license with insurability under the employer's insurance policy.
- Hybrid working arrangement includes office, home, and on-site support.
- Willingness to travel up to 60%.
- Be prepared to work a flexible schedule to meet operational demands.
- Openness to off-site training and workshops.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is necessary.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic understanding of airport operations and maintenance.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, COSS, NFPA 70E) are beneficial.
- Relevant quality certifications (e.g., Certified 9001 Quality Auditor) are beneficial.
- Ability to interpret and apply OSHA, NFPA, and ISO 9001 standards to Daifuku operations.
- Experience in a related field or a combination of education, training, and relevant experience is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires flexibility including but is not limited to working in an office that may include a shop environment, exposing the employee to dust, moving machinery, and noise levels that comply with OSHA standards. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in fieldwork scenarios.
