Parts Inventory Specialist

Staffmark is hiring a Parts Inventory Specialist in Houston, TX. This entry-level role is vital to the success of our repair operations, ensuring the accurate flow of parts through inventory, from receiving and organizing to shipping and tracking.

Pay: $15/hour

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Ensure correct parts are identified and matched to repair needs to avoid mismatches.
• Organize and maintain an efficient, accessible inventory system while following standard procedures.
• Accurately receive and inspect incoming parts, process outgoing shipments, and manage returns and documentation.
• Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with audits to maintain inventory integrity.
• Update inventory records with correct part numbers, quantities, and locations in the system.
• Coordinate with the repair team on parts availability, lead times, and inventory concerns.
• Keep the inventory area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Support the team with other tasks as assigned by supervisors or project leads.

Qualifications:

• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Familiarity with inventory systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
• Regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
