Job Summary:

The Dealer Sales Manager is responsible for CUautoFi dealer business development, dealer relations, special promotions, and enhancing current indirect lending relationships.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:



  • Conducts on-site sales calls to dealer partners acting as a liaison between CUautoFI and the dealerships.
  • Audits problem dealers and performs follow-ups.
  • Participates in community events and related activities that support business development, while enhancing CUautoFI' S image throughout the local auto dealer community.
  • Utilizes technology to create reports, analyze results, and act upon findings.
  • Procures the due diligence necessary to onboard new Auto Dealerships to our business partners group.
  • Evaluates and submits dealers for deactivation because of adverse information and observations of financial results.
  • Maintain knowledge of all developments in the automotive lending industry to detect new trends and opportunities.
  • Completes special projects assigned by the head of CUautoFi
  • Manages employees responsible for smaller sales assignments, with the purpose of mentoring, developing and educating them on dealer due diligence, sales and partnerships.
  • Completes monthly performance reports for the assigned territory, to include the one of the employee(s) under supervision.
  • Presents plans and strategies to maximize dealer production and engagement.



Qualifications:



  • A bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; five years of auto finance/auto dealership experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of prior dealer sales experience required.
