Inside the Role

The Finance and Insurance Manager is responsible for producing additional revenue for the SelecTruck Center by selling finance and insurance products to used truck customers, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. In addition, the F&I Manager regularly monitors and reviews the Center's operational documents for accuracy and consistency.

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Sell financing and other finance and insurance products to customers.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, factory and otherwise.
  • Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals.
  • Work with sales personnel to secure a reasonable profit from every sale.
  • Coordinate payoffs on customer trades and verify correct title.
  • Handle all rate quotations.
  • Process all documents necessary for sale, including billing, insurance and finance.
  • Review documents related to salesperson's commissions, STC receivables and payables.
  • Monitor customer deposits and all files for state compliance, including the proper safeguarding of sensitive customer information.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Familiarity with automotive or truck retail finance and insurance procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Professional demeanor and conduct.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to successfully pass pre-employment screenings.
  • An attached resume is required.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • An Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish, a plus
