ICET-MN Program Manager

The Tibetan Healing Initiative at the Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing (csh.umn.edu) is seeking a program assistant for its Intergenerational Cultural Education among Tibetans in Minnesota (ICET-MN) program. This position will average 14 hours per week.

Duties/Responsibilities

• 65% Arrange ICET-MN Bi-weekly sessions
  • Coordinate with Tibetan community faculty and fellows about session topics and its logistics
  • Keep track of speakers' schedule and their availability
• 15% Work with fellows on their assignments and other activities as required
• 10% Conduct regular assessment of the program and prepare reports
• 5% Other logistics: reimbursements for faculty and fellows' expenses, arranging transportation, etc.
• 5% Other duties as assigned
  

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree.
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Drive.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Language proficiency in Tibetan and English.
• One to two years of work experience.
• Must be able to work 8 hours per week from June - December 2025 with some flexibility in schedule to accommodate online and in-person event needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work experience in the Tibetan community.
• Hold a valid US Driver's License.

Pay Range: $18 - $19; depending on education/qualifications/experience
