Job Description
Make a Difference in the Lives of Individuals with Special Needs!
Elwyn, a leader in supporting those with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking a passionate Admissions Coordinator to join our team. You will play a vital role in helping individuals access the care they need
In this role, you will:
- Be the first point of contact: Answer calls, track referrals, and manage the Adult RTF (Residential Treatment) Intake Office.
- Conduct assessments: Evaluate referrals to determine the best program fit.
- Make admissions decisions: Approve or deny admissions following established guidelines.
- Maintain strong relationships: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to growth: Track referrals and identify opportunities to increase admissions.
To be successful, you will need:
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Experience in mental health: Knowledge of behavioral healthcare and residential treatment.
- Strong communication skills: Effectively interact with clients, families, and professionals.
- Excellent organizational skills: Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills: Independently find solutions and make sound decisions.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- CPR/Crisis Intervention certified: Prioritize safety and well-being.
