Here's what you'd do:

  • The Wave Solder Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Wave Solder Equipment and In-Line Aqueous Cleaner.
  • Also perform rework using the airbag machine for the client.
  • Reports to the Production Supervisor.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain Wave Solder Equipment, a Solder Station, an In-Line Aqueous Cleaner, a Potting Machine, an Airbag Machine, and other equipment used to assemble printed circuit boards.
  • Inspect each assembled printed circuit board before and after solder operations to ensure compliance with IPC soldering standards.
  • Perform basic maintenance levels following established procedures and assist maintenance technicians.
  • Interface with complex machine hardware and software.
  • Ensure proper handling of controlled materials routinely used in the wave solder process.
  • Follow established safety guidelines.
  • Wash circuit board assemblies.
  • Check kits for accuracy.
  • Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job-specific procedures.
  • Maintain ESD integrity within the production environment.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the work-in-process associated with the work cell.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the work area and surrounding workspace.
  • Follow written/verbal instructions and maintain data logs.
  • Participate in Quality team meetings, as necessary.
  • May train other employees.
  • Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $17.75/hr. plus 10% shift diff

Hours: 40 hours/week (2nd Shift).03:30pm-11:30pm

Length: Temp to Perm.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with various hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters, and pneumatic tools such as torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with high-volume work.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in wave solder equipment and potting machine operation.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC Standards.
  • ESD Training.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload to handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic computer, problem-solving, mechanical, and workstation skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and quickly with high accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
