Position Title: Forklift Operator / Warehouse Team Member
Wage: $17/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-4:30pm (Monday-Thursday) QPS Employment Group is hiring a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Team Member for a company in Waverly, IA. This is an associate to hire role. Forklift Operator / Warehouse Team Member Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Manually pick ingredients for orders and weigh the product out to the desired amount - Palletize all ingredients needed for order and deliver by pallet jack to the work station - Pour ingredients into machine to be blended and filled into bags - Palletize bags of product - up to 50lbs at chest height - Clean up working station using portable hose filled with soap and water - Pick ingredients according to production batch sheet - Weigh ingredients accurately - Mix and blend ingredients following instructions in a safer manner - Handle equipment for mixing/blending in a safe manner and according to requirements - Handle all raw materials in a hygienic and food safe manner (opening containers, weighing, pouring, closing containers) - Pack out product in correct packaging types - Keep detail record of all tasks - Clean and sanitize equipment and production room according to procedure and safety requirements - Keep detailed record of cleaning and sanitation Forklift Operator / Warehouse Team Member Requirements: - Ability to handle heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50lbs - Ability to stand and work for most of the day - Ability to drive forklift in a safe manner QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
