Manufacturing Engineer
Overview Under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, develop processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met and to provide manufacturing support and promote process improvement; Troubleshoot problems with production and takes corrective actions; Researches the purchase of equipment or upgrades to existing equipment. Responsibilities
Evaluate, implement and monitor processes and operating systems for continuous improvement projects that will reduce cost, improve quality, throughput, and safety.

A.) from four-year college or university; with three to five years related experience and/or training. Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, CAD, 3D CAD LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Self motivated, hands on individual with keen interest in quickly learning and applying new skills who can follow written and verbal instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong background in applying lean principles and initiatives.
