GENERAL SUMMARY

Following established policies and procedures and under supervision, the Foreign Exchange Dealer Assistant provides assistance to the Foreign Exchange team in handling day-to-day foreign exchange transactions and prepares necessary reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Assists with daily operations, including but not limited to answering questions regarding foreign exchange products and rates, international payment needs, and client relationship management.
  • Assists the Foreign Exchange team in handling day-to-day foreign exchange transactions.
  • Responds to the inquiries from branches or clients.
  • Gathers and processes market data, news, information, and prepares daily market updates.
  • Prepare foreign exchange products and services presentation and training material.
  • Act as a liaison between Foreign Exchange Sales and Foreign Exchange Operations to facilitate transactions.
  • Executes foreign exchange transactions within level limits and guidelines set in the Bank's foreign exchange trading policies.
  • Assists the Foreign Exchange team with foreign exchange business development.



QUALIFICATIONS



  • Education: College graduate with a major in Business preferred.
  • Experience: Client service experience within a banking or financial services environment highly preferred.
  • Skills/Ability: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; good verbal and written communication skills; good customer service skills; bilingual English/Mandarin strongly preferred, fast learner and detail oriented.

$26.44 - $27.40 / hour
Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
